This place is tucked away in Chawl No 5, Room No 8. It’s in Malad East, specifically Chachi A M Lane. Finding it can be a little confusing if you aren't from around here because of the way the lanes cross. It’s near the B V K Iyengar Road cross, right opposite the Tapovan Jyoti Building. I spend most of my days here in this room. It isn't a huge office with glass walls or anything. It's a simple space where work happens. Sometimes it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps the air moving. People from the other rooms in the chawl often walk past and say hello. It's a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise from the street, but you get used to it after a while. I keep my books and tools organized on a small table. There’s always something to do, whether it’s making calls or sorting out paperwork. The lane outside is usually crowded with people going to work or kids playing. It feels very much like a community here. Sometimes the deliveries get mixed up because the addresses are so close together, but we always figure it out. It's just a regular life here in Malad. Nothing too special, just honest work being done every day in a small room. I’ve been here for a long time now and don't see myself moving anywhere else anytime soon.
