Jhaveri Food Producers is located in the Veena Industrial Estate off Link Road in Andheri, specifically at unit 112. The first thing you notice when you walk into our area is the smell, which changes depending on what we are working on that day. It’s a busy place with a lot of cleaning and packing going on at all hours. We have to be very careful with how we handle everything, so there is a lot of hand-washing and making sure the surfaces are spotless. The industrial estate is quite large and it’s easy to get lost, but once you find unit 112, you’ll see us busy with the machines or weighing out portions. We don't have a big marketing department or any fancy branding experts; we are just people who know how to process food and get it ready for the shops. The noise of the packaging machines is constant, and we have to shout a bit to be heard over the hum. We take our breaks in a small corner near the window that looks out over the rest of the estate. Andheri traffic is a nightmare, so we usually start early and stay late to avoid the worst of it. It’s a straightforward business, and we focus more on what’s inside the bags than how the office looks. We’ve been here at Veena Estate for years and the routine suits us just fine.
