Jess Foods

You can find Jess Foods over in Lower Parel specifically at 7th Cross in the Vidhana Southa Layout at 118 A B. This area is full of old buildings and new offices so there is always a mix of people walking around. We are in the kitchen area mostly making sure the food is ready for the day. Being at 118 A B means we are a bit back from the main road so you have to look for the sign near the layout entrance. Lower Parel is quite cramped and the 7th Cross is no different with bikes parked everywhere and delivery vans trying to squeeze through. We deal with a lot of boxes and crates coming in and out every morning. It gets hot in the back when all the burners are going and the fans are just moving the warm air around. I spend my time checking the inventory and making sure the labels are on right. It is a practical kind of place where we focus on the cooking and the packing rather than how the front looks. We do not have any big fancy lounge or anything like that. Just a lot of stainless steel and people working hard to get the orders out on time. The noise from the Vidhana Southa Layout construction nearby can be a bit much sometimes but we just get used to it while we are busy with the vegetables and the grains.
