Jay Decorators

We are Jay Decorators. You can find us located in Santacruz East, at number 22. It has been our spot for a very long time. Mostly we do events, maybe some small party setups for the local families. It gets incredibly busy around the holiday season. Santacruz East is a good area with lots of families living nearby. We know most of the people on our street by name. My father actually started this business many years ago. I eventually just took it over from him. We have some tents, some chairs, and plenty of lights in the back. Setting up for a function takes a lot of time and effort. We are usually up very early in the morning and finishing late at night. The storage space at 22 is packed right to the ceiling. Sometimes it is hard to find specific items in the clutter, but we always manage. We aren’t one of those big event planning firms you see on television. We just have the stuff you need for a decent gathering. If the rain comes unexpectedly, we have to move very fast. That is probably the hardest part of this entire job. People come to us because we are local. They don’t have to travel far to get help. We don’t do much advertising. Word of mouth is enough. Santacruz has changed, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. It is honest work. Nothing too fancy, just making sure things look decent for whatever party is happening.
