Jay Decor is located over at Girgaon on Balekarwadi Road. You can find us at number 204. It’s a small place, to be honest. We have been here for a good while now. Decorating a home isn’t always about the most expensive stuff you can find. It is about making a room feel okay to live in. We sell basic things for the house like curtains, maybe some paint or different wallpapers. Girgaon is a very busy spot. There is always a lot of traffic right outside our door. Sometimes it is even hard to find a place to park. But we like the neighborhood and the people here. I started this whole thing because I liked fixing up my own place first. Then the neighbors started asking for help. Now it has turned into a full-time thing for me. The shop is usually a bit messy with samples scattered everywhere. Fabric books and color swatches are all over the place. Balekarwadi Road has many shops, but we have our regulars who come back. It is mostly just me and a couple of others helping out. We don’t do those big fancy galas or anything. Just helping people pick out what looks good in their small living room. Some days are slow. Other days, everyone wants something new at the same time. We try to keep things simple. 204 is easy to spot once you are on the road. We don't use much technology here. Mostly just pen and paper and a handshake. It has worked for us so far in Girgaon.
