Jai Nakoda Marbles & Granites

We are based in the Hindusthan Kohinoor Complex, which is on LBS Marg in Vikroli West. It is a very busy part of town, right in the middle of the Surya Nagar area. The traffic on LBS Marg never really stops, so there is always a loud hum of engines in the background. Our shop is Jai Nakoda Marbles & Granites. We have got a good amount of space in the complex for our marble and granite inventory. It is not the easiest place to navigate with a big truck, but we make it work somehow. We have slabs of all different shades stacked up against the high walls. People from the new apartment buildings nearby often come in to pick out stone for their bathrooms or balconies. We spend a lot of time talking to them about the different types of granite and how they wear down over time. The floor of the shop is always a bit dusty from the stone, no matter how often we try to sweep it. We have a small desk where we handle the bills and the paperwork. It is usually piled high with notes and old ledgers. Sometimes we have to wait around late into the evening for a delivery because of the city traffic rules for heavy vehicles. It is just part of the job. We do not have a fancy showroom.
