We are located over at Bhaghyoday Chs, Plot No 76 in Veer Savarkar Nagar, which is right in the heart of Thane West. It is one of those places where you really see the daily hustle of the city right outside the window. The building itself is a standard cooperative housing society, so you have people living their lives right alongside where we do our work. It gets a bit noisy sometimes when the school buses go by or when the local vegetable sellers are calling out their prices, but we have gotten used to it over the years. The office inside isn’t anything fancy or polished like those big corporate hubs you see in the movies. We have our desks, some old chairs that we probably should have replaced a while ago, and stacks of papers that never seem to go away. Most of the staff comes from nearby areas, so we all know the best spots to grab a quick vada pav or a cutting chai during the mid-morning break. It is a practical space where we focus on getting through the tasks of the day. We don't really do much in the way of decorating; it's more about having a functional spot where the electricity stays on and the internet works well enough. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again, which happens more often than we’d like. But that’s just how it goes here.
