Interior Architects

Our little office is right on the corner of Subhash Road, specifically at Chudasama Plot. If you look for Street Number 3 near the corner of Shubhas Nagar Main Road, you can't miss us. It’s a busy spot, so there’s always the sound of traffic and people shouting outside. Being Interior Architects doesn't mean we have a pristine studio like you see on TV. Our tables are usually buried under blueprints and empty coffee mugs. We’ve been at this corner for a while, watching the shops around us change every few years. The light coming through the front window is great in the morning, but by midday, we have to pull the shades down to see the computer screens properly. I spend a lot of time just drawing and erasing things until they look right. Sometimes a client comes in with a scrap of paper or a picture from a magazine and we try to make it work in their space. It’s a lot of back and forth. We don't use big words or try to act more important than we are. We just enjoy the process of figuring out how a room should feel. The floor is a bit creaky in the back, and the door sticks if it rains too much. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get things done without making too much of a fuss. We just want to finish the drawings so the building can actually start.
