Indiana Stones

We are located on the first floor at 54/1A on Nanjappa Road. It is in Shanthinagar, which is a nice part of the city, though finding parking near our building can be a bit of a struggle most days. Indiana Stones is what we call ourselves. Since we are on the first floor, we spend a lot of time carrying samples up and down those narrow stairs. It is good exercise, I guess. The office is mostly filled with stone slabs and small pieces of rock samples. There is dust on almost everything, no matter how much we try to clean it. We have a couple of old desks shoved into the corners for paperwork. Most of the day is spent talking to contractors or looking at project drawings. We do not have a big showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. It is more of a functional space where we get the daily work done. Shanthinagar is relatively quiet compared to the main markets, which we really appreciate. Sometimes we sit by the window and watch the bikes go by on Nanjappa Road. We have got a small fridge for cold water, which is essential during the summer months. The neighbors are mostly other small offices, so we all know each other by name. It is not a corporate setup by any means. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. If you visit, you will probably find us sorting through a new shipment or arguing about where a certain pallet went. It is just how we operate.
