We are Indcon Engineering Consultsnts and you can find us at the residence of Monu Jacob and Geetha Jacob. The house is called Thalackal Jyothis and it is in Pampady, which is near Kottayam. Our post office is also Pampady Po. It’s a very local, family-run kind of setup. We do engineering consulting from here, so it’s not your typical corporate office environment. It is much quieter than being in a big city. We handle different engineering projects and the work usually involves a lot of planning and checking figures. Being in Kottayam, we are surrounded by a lot of green and it’s a peaceful place to think about technical problems. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’re likely to just meet one of us. We work with local clients and some from further away too. The business is basically run out of the home, so it feels very personal. We take our work seriously, but we don't feel the need to act like a huge firm. It’s just us using our skills to help people with their builds and plans. We spend our time at our desks or visiting local sites. It is a simple life and a simple business in a beautiful part of Kerala. We like the way we do things here and most of our neighbors know what we do by now.
