Dharavi is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it at Saibaba Nagar Society. Our shop is number 15. It is not a big space, but we have enough room for the machines and a couple of chairs for people who come by. Mostly, we are busy with printing and graphic work. The street outside is always noisy with motorcycles and people walking past to get to the main road. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, but we keep the computers covered when they are not being used. It is a local spot. People from the neighborhood know us by name, and they usually stop by just to say hello or ask about a small job. We have been here for a good amount of time. Every morning begins with cleaning the glass counter and checking the ink levels. The power goes out once in a while, so we have to wait it out and chat with the guy from the tea stall next door. It is just regular work life in a crowded part of the city. We do not have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It is just a workspace where things get done. If you are looking for Shop 15, you just look for the blue board near the corner. It is a simple setup, and we like it that way because it keeps things easy for everyone who visits us.
