Idea Interior Design Studio

We’ve been operating Idea Interior Design Studio out of this particular corner of Mahim for some time now. To find us, you have to head up to the second floor of the Vishwavi building and look for Room No 10. It’s a fairly modest setup, nothing like those huge corporate offices you see in the magazines. There are days when the stairs feel like a bit of a climb, especially when we’re hauling around heavy material boards or stacks of blueprints, but it’s our home base. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess with fabric swatches, wood samples, and sketches scattered across the tables. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anyone to open the door for you; it’s just us working away. The building itself has that old Mahim character, and you can always hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the windows. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, but we don’t really mind. We spend a lot of our time just sitting here, staring at floor plans and trying to figure out how to maximize space for our clients. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to be the most famous designers in the city; we just want to make sure the homes we work on are comfortable for the people living in them. We deal with the local carpenters and suppliers nearby, and we’ve built some decent relationships over the years. It’s just how we do things here.
