We work out of the ICICI Bank Tower over on Nawab Street in Bandra. It’s a big building, so it’s hard to miss if you’re in the area. We handle the home finance side of things here. It's a busy office with people coming in to talk about their loans or paperwork almost every day. The street outside can be quite a mess with traffic, especially in the evenings. We’ve got a lot of desks lined up and it can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone. It’s not a quiet place, but that’s how it goes in Bandra. We just try to get through the daily pile of documents. People usually come to us when they are looking to buy a place or need to sort out their existing home stuff. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just processing applications and checking numbers all day. The air conditioning is usually running full blast because it gets so hot outside. Most of us have been here for a few years now. We know the local spots for lunch, which is the highlight of the day sometimes. It’s a professional environment but we keep it grounded. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just the standard work that needs doing to keep things moving for the bank and the customers who walk through the door. It keeps us on our toes.
