Hsbc

We've been here in Mumbai for a while now. Most of us grew up around Maharashtra and ended up working at this Hsbc office. It is a busy place, just like the rest of the city. We show up every morning, grab some chai, and get started with the day's tasks. There is always a lot to do, and the phones keep ringing, but we manage. People stop by to talk about their accounts or just to ask how things work. We don't have fancy speeches or big posters about what we do. We just sit at our desks and try to get the paperwork sorted out correctly. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get to the office, but the team still shows up anyway. It's just a regular workplace with regular people. We know the neighbors and the shops nearby. Dealing with money and numbers can be dry, but we try to keep it simple. If someone walks in with a problem, we take a look and see what can be done. It isn't always fast, because there are rules for everything, but we do the work. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and computers and a lot of files. We've seen the city change a lot over the years. We stay focused on the daily grind and making sure the balances match up at the end of the shift. That is pretty much how things go for us here in Mumbai.
