Our office is over at Ishawas CHSL, right in Kannamwar Nagar No. 1. If you know Vikhroli East, you know it’s a busy residential and commercial mix. We are on the second floor of Plot 3, Flat 42. It’s a regular apartment turned into a workspace, which feels more comfortable for us than a cold glass building. We deal with bricks, mostly for local housing and small projects around Mumbai. Station Road is right there, so it’s easy for people to reach us, though the trains are always packed. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a bit. It’s not a corporate headquarters with marble floors. It’s just us, some desks, and a lot of ledgers to keep track of. The neighborhood is full of life and you can hear the sounds of the street all day long. We know the local guys who need materials for their sites. We don't have a big marketing budget. We just focus on the orders we have. Sometimes we get a bit backed up when the monsoon hits because moving bricks in the rain is a mess for everyone involved. But we manage to get through it. It’s a simple business. We like the community here in Vikhroli. It feels like home, which I guess is why we have it in the name. Just trying to earn a living and help people build their homes. It is practical work for practical people.
