Hinduja Clinic

You can find Hinduja Clinic inside the big Hinduja National Hospital complex over on Veer Savarkar Marg. We are specifically at Clinic No 2101 in the ED section. Being in Mahim, we get that nice sea breeze sometimes, but the road outside is always jammed with traffic. It’s a very different vibe than a small street clinic. Here, everything is part of a much bigger machine. I spend my day in room 2101, which isn't very large, but we make it work. We have our desks and our equipment, and there is just enough space for the patients to sit. It’s a lot of checking the computer and making sure the appointments are on time. We don't really do the flashy stuff you see in some of the private clinics. It’s more about being practical and getting people through the door. You have to walk through several corridors to find us, but once you’re here, it’s pretty straightforward. The walls are a plain off-white color and the floor is always being mopped. We see a lot of people from all over Mumbai because Mahim is so central. It gets pretty tiring by five o'clock, especially with the constant noise of the hospital paging system. We just do our best to keep our little corner of the building running smoothly without too much fuss.
