Our office sits on the fifth floor of the Castle Rock building in Bhakti Park. This is in the Wadala area of Mumbai, right off the Sion Wadala Link Road. Anyone who knows Mumbai understands how backed up that road gets during rush hour. From our windows, we can often see the traffic crawling along. The nearby park offers a nice bit of green, though we stay inside most of the day. Flat 503 is where all our technology work happens. It is a decent space, but we have filled it with desks and server racks over the years. Having been here a long time, the staff is well-adjusted to the daily commute. While the building is kept in good shape, our actual office is very functional and plain. Decorative art or expensive furniture just isn't our thing. We use what we have to get the projects finished. In the small kitchen area, we usually eat lunch together. Most of the team brings tiffins from home. The atmosphere is friendly without any of that stiff formality. There is no strict dress code or anything like that to worry about. We are simply a team of people working in a very busy part of the city. Even if it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, we make it work. It is just a steady, honest place to spend the day while getting through our tasks.
