Hari Om Pharma Equipment

Down in the Wagle Industrial Estate in Thane is where we set up our shop. Our unit is B-7 in the Om Sai Industrial Estate on Road Number 30. It’s a bit of a drive to get back here through the estate, but we like it because it’s where all the action is. Hari Om Pharma Equipment is the name we’ve used since we started. We focus on the machines that pharmacies and labs need. Our workshop is filled with tools, spare parts, and pieces of equipment in various stages of being fixed or put together. It’s a bit messy, with oil stains on the floor and metal shavings in the corners, but that’s how a workshop should be. I spend most of my day with a wrench or a screwdriver in my hand. We have a few technicians who have been with me for years. We aren't much for sitting at desks all day. When a customer calls, it’s usually because something broke and they need it fixed fast. We do our best to get things moving again. The afternoon sun hits the front of the unit pretty hard, so it gets warm inside. We just keep the big door open to let the breeze in. It’s a straightforward business. We fix things, we sell things, and we make sure the equipment is working like it’s supposed to. Just a regular day in Thane for us.
