Hari Om Marbles

Our place is located on the first floor at Plot No. 141 in the Marol Co-Op Industrial Estate. It is right in the middle of Sakinaka, which everyone knows is always crowded and loud. Getting here through the traffic on A.K. Road can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we are used to it. We deal with marble slabs and heavy stones all day long. The floor stays cool because of all the rock inside, even when it is boiling hot outside. We spend a lot of time looking at patterns and checking for any cracks or chips in the material. It is heavy work moving those pieces around the floor. We have got a small team here. Most of us have been around for years and we know which stone works for what. Customers come in and walk around the stacks, touching the cold surfaces. It gets noisy with the cutting machines running sometimes. We just talk louder to be heard. It is not a showroom with fancy lights or anything. Just the slabs leaning against the walls. We try to keep the dust down, but it is a losing battle in this trade. If you need us, we are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. People find us by the sign near the Sagbaug turnoff. It is a practical business and we do not overthink it.
