Haresh L Bhatia

Our place is located in the Kalbadevi Kiabad Industrial Area, specifically in Room No 5. If you know Kalbadevi, you know it’s a tight, busy area with lots of movement all day long. Haresh L Bhatia is the name we go by. It’s mostly just us working out of this small room, surrounded by other industrial shops and units. The noise from the machinery nearby is pretty constant, but you get used to it after a week or so. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren’t familiar with the layout of the industrial estate. We spend most of our time dealing with the daily tasks that come up. It isn't a place for showing off. The walls are a bit dusty and the floor has seen better days, but it’s where the work gets done. There’s always a delivery coming in or something going out. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that’s a nice break in the middle of a long afternoon. We’ve been in this spot for a bit and it suits what we do. It’s practical. No need for anything more than the basic setup we have in Room 5. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing, just trying to keep their businesses moving forward. It’s a hardworking part of town and we fit right in. There's not much room to move around but we make it work even on the hot days.
