You can find us at B-17 in the Bafna Complex. We are located right along the Goa-Mumbai Highway in Pen, which is part of the Raigad district. It’s a busy location because of all the traffic moving between the big cities. The dust from the highway is something we just live with. We work with H&R Johnson India Ltd. and keep a lot of stock here for people in the Maharastra region. The Bafna Complex is a well-known landmark around here, so most folks don't have trouble finding us. It’s a bit of a rugged setup. We spend a lot of time in the warehouse area checking the crates for cracks or chips. Tiles are heavy and moving them in the heat is tough work. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning in every corner. It’s more of a functional place where we get things done. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy during the monsoon and we have to make sure everything stays dry. We’ve got a small group of workers who have been here for years. We aren't interested in being corporate. We just talk to the people who walk in and help them find what they need for their building work. It’s a straightforward life out here in Pen, and our business reflects that. We usually close up when the sun goes down, unless there is a late truck we are waiting for on the highway.
