Gulmohur Eye Clinic

Our clinic, Gulmohur Eye Clinic, is tucked away in Malad East. If you’ve spent any time in Mumbai, you know how crowded and lively Malad can be. We’ve been here for a good number of years now, serving the people in this neighborhood. We focus on eye care, which mostly means doing routine exams and helping people get the right glasses. The clinic isn't a massive hospital with hundreds of beds. It’s a small, local setup where you’ll usually see the same faces every time you visit. The waiting room is simple, just some chairs and some old magazines. Sometimes the wait is a little longer than we’d like, especially on Saturday mornings when everyone is off work. We don't have a fancy reception desk with a dozen people. Usually, it's just one or two of us handling the appointments and the files. We try to be honest with people about what they need. We don't use big medical jargon unless we really have to. It’s a practical place for practical people. Malad East is our home, and we like the community here. We aren't part of some giant chain of clinics. We just operate this one spot and try to do a decent job with every patient. It’s a lot of work keeping things running, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the city and the needs of our patients over the years.
