You can find us at No. 5 - E in the Laxmi Industrial Estate on New Link Road. Andheri West is always crowded, and this industrial estate is no different. We’ve been here for a bit now, handling all sorts of tiles and ceramics. The warehouse is big enough to hold a lot of boxes, but we always seem to be running out of room. It gets a bit chaotic when the deliveries show up at the same time. We spend a lot of our time just moving crates around and making sure nothing gets chipped. Ceramics are fragile, so you have to be careful with the forklift. People come in from all over to look at the different finishes. Some want glossy, some want matte, and we just try to show them what's in the crates. We don’t have one of those slick offices you see in the city center. It’s more of a working space where the floors are usually covered in a bit of dust from the packaging. We open up early and stay late most days because there’s always something that needs sorting out. The New Link Road traffic can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out before the rush starts. It’s a lot of manual work, checking orders and making sure the counts are right. If you’re around Laxmi Industrial, you can just stop in and see what’s on the pallets.
