Govandi Dispensary

The Govandi Dispensary is located inside the Govandi Housing Society area. It's right by the Gujrat Laghu Udhyog Vasahat. We have been in this 400088 zip code for quite some time now. It’s a simple setup where people from the society and the nearby industrial units come when they aren't feeling well. Usually, it's just common stuff like fevers or coughs. We open up early in the morning because that’s when most people want to be seen before they head off to their jobs. The space isn't huge but it serves the purpose. We have a few benches for waiting. Sometimes the noise from the nearby units comes in but we are used to it by now. It is a very local kind of place where we know many of the faces who walk through the door. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us helping out the neighborhood. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk and the phone rings more than we’d like but we manage. If you are coming from the main road you might have to ask around a bit if it's your first time but most locals know where the housing society is. It’s a quiet enough corner of Govandi. We just keep things moving and try to see everyone who shows up before we close for the day. It's a basic medical spot for regular people and we stay busy with it.
