Gopal Palriwala

My place is at 504 Lourdes Tower in Malad West. It’s more of an office setup than a shop where people just wander in off the street to browse. I’ve been working from this specific location for quite a few years now. Malad West is a very busy area with a lot going on, but once you get up to the fifth floor where I am, it’s a bit quieter. I handle a lot of different tasks throughout the day. It’s mostly sitting at a desk, making calls, and going through various documents. I don't have a big team of people or a fancy reception area with a secretary. If someone needs to see me, they usually call ahead and then come up to the office. The view from the window isn't much to talk about, just other buildings and the busy street below, but it’s fine for what I need. I like the routine of coming here every morning and getting started. Some days are slow and I get to catch up on things I've been putting off, while other days the phone won't stop ringing from morning till night. I try to keep things simple and honest with everyone I deal with. I don't use big words to sound important. I just do the work that needs doing. People seem to appreciate that I don't waste their time. I’ve lived in this part of town for a long time, so I’m used to the pace.
