Gogi Food Products

Gogi Food Products operates out of Chembur on BPC Road at Akota 47B. This is the place where we handle all the packing and sorting for the different food items we sell. It is a very practical workspace with long stainless steel tables and a few basic machines for sealing the plastic bags. You can always smell spices or grains in the air as soon as you get near the building. We started this business in a very small way in a home kitchen and eventually moved here when we needed more room for the workers. Most of the people who work here are from the local Chembur area and many of them have been with us since the beginning. We don't have a fancy reception area or a big office. There is just a small desk in the corner where we keep the records and take phone calls. It gets quite loud when the packing machines are running but that just means we have work to do. BPC Road is a good location for us because the delivery vans can easily get in and out to take the goods to the local markets. We don't do much in terms of advertising or promotion. Most of our business comes from store owners who have been buying from us for years. We just try to get the work done and make sure the bags are sealed properly before they go out.
