Global Stone

Global Stone is tucked away in Kharodi Village, right across from the Infant Jesus Chappel Church. If you are driving down Malad Marve road in Malad West, you will see the church first, and we are just right there. It’s a bit of a quieter pocket compared to the rest of Malad, which we actually like. We’ve got our stone yard set up here where we can keep the slabs without it being too cramped. The church is a good landmark because people sometimes get lost looking for the village turns. We spend most of the day out in the yard, especially when the sun is out. It’s physical work, and our hands are usually dusty by noon. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning; we just have a small cabin where we keep the phone and the ledger. People from the neighborhood usually just walk in and look around. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything they don't need. We just show them what arrived on the last truck and tell them the price. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. Living and working in Malad West has its challenges with the humidity and the narrow roads, but being near the church in Kharodi makes it feel like home for us. We just get on with it day by day.
