Our office is over in Marol, specifically in the Lok Sarita building, room 209. Being in Andheri East means we are right in the middle of all the noise and traffic that Mumbai is famous for. It’s a busy area, but once you get inside the building, things quiet down a little bit. We’ve been here for a while, working on the pharmaceutical side of the business. The office itself is pretty basic—just desks, chairs, and plenty of filing cabinets for all the records we have to keep. We spend a lot of time talking to distributors and making sure everything is in order with the medicine supplies. There’s a small window that looks out onto the street, and sometimes you can see the monsoon rain coming down really hard. Most of us take the local train and then a rickshaw to get to Marol every morning. It’s a lot of routine, but we don't mind it. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon. It isn't a fancy setup with glass walls or modern art; it is just a practical place where we come to do our jobs. We know the other people in the building and sometimes chat in the hallway or by the entrance. It’s a good, solid place to work without any extra fluff or unnecessary things. We just try to get the work finished so we can beat the rush hour traffic home.
