Giriraj Impex

Yusuf Mansion is located on the 13th Khetwadi Back Road. We are in Shop Number 2 on the ground floor. The address says 204 but mostly we stay down here in the shop. It is right opposite the main part of the mansion. Harikishandas Hospital is very close by so there are always ambulances and people walking around. The street is quite narrow and it gets very congested with bikes and handcarts during the day. Giriraj Impex handles stuff related to trade and shipping. The office has a few old desks and some filing cabinets that don't always shut right. It is a very busy part of town. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but nobody has the time for that. I spend my day on the phone or checking through papers. The noise from Khetwadi is constant and you hear vendors calling out all day long. I drink a lot of tea while I work to stay awake. The floor is made of old tiles. Sometimes the water doesn't come in the tap until the evening time. We keep some samples on the shelves. It is an old building, Yusuf Mansion. You can see the history in the stairs and the windows. Working near a big hospital means it is never truly quiet even at night. I have been working out of this shop for many years now. It is a practical space for us. We don't have decorations.
