Our office is over in Ghatkopar East, specifically inside the Satyam Shopping Complex. We occupy units C- 13 and 14. It’s a decent place to work from, even if it gets crowded on the weekends with shoppers. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners and office folks nearby. Dealing with medicines and pharma products requires a lot of attention, so we try to keep our workspace organized. The commute to the complex isn't too bad for most of us. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through inventories. It’s not the most exciting work, but it needs doing correctly. People often drop by asking for directions or looking for our door because the complex has many sections. We try to keep our shelves stocked and the records updated daily. Ghatkopar is a lively area, and being in a shopping complex means there is always something going on outside. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just our desks, the storage areas, and us. We focus on getting the orders ready for dispatch. If someone needs something, we look it up and see if it's in the back. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up, but we get by. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just the daily grind of the pharmaceutical business in a busy part of the city.
