Genpact

Our spot for Genpact is over in Mahim, right on Mogul Lane. We are in the Devdarshan building, specifically unit 202 A. If you know Mumbai, you know how tight these lanes can get, especially when deliveries are happening. It’s a lively area and there’s always something going on outside our windows. The office itself is practical. We don't have any big reception desks or expensive art on the walls. It’s just a place where we sit down and get through the pile of work assigned to us. Being in Mumbai, the commute is something everyone talks about, but being located here in Mahim makes it somewhat central for most of the team. We usually grab lunch from the local spots nearby. The building isn't new, but it’s sturdy and has been our home for a while now. We keep the doors open when the weather allows, though the noise from the street can be a bit much sometimes. It’s a very local feel here. We know the neighbors and the people running the small shops downstairs. It’s not like those glass buildings you see in the newer parts of the city. This is just an old-school Mumbai office where we put in our hours and go home. We like the honesty of the neighborhood. It’s a real place with real people working hard. There is no corporate polish here, just honest daily effort from everyone in the room.
