We are set up in Vile Parle East, right on Maninagar Cross Road. If you know where the fish market is, we are just opposite that. It’s a lively spot to be in, though it can get a bit crowded during market hours. We do all sorts of printing work here, mostly small jobs for people in the neighborhood. The sound of the machines is something you just get used to after a while. There’s always the smell of ink and fresh paper in the shop. My desk is usually buried under stacks of proofs and half-finished projects. We keep a few chairs for people to wait while we finish a quick run of copies or flyers. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but it keeps the place cool enough. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, so it feels like a little community around the cross road. We aren't a big factory, just a local press trying to keep up with the daily orders that come through the door. It gets a bit hectic when someone needs something done by the evening, but we usually manage to get it sorted. Dealing with the paper suppliers takes up a lot of time too. It’s just regular work for us every day here in Vile Parle. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a big batch of wedding cards or some community notices, but we don't mind much.
