Gauri Jadhav

My place is over in Dadar East at number 736. It's a lively part of the city and I've been working from here for quite some time. The office is small but it fits everything I need. Most of my day is spent on the phone or working through files on my desk. I don't really have a big staff, it's mostly just me and sometimes a helper if things get backed up. People from the neighborhood know the building well. It's easy to find once you get off the train and walk a bit. I try to stay organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up when it’s a busy month. There’s always someone coming in to ask a question or drop off something. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon. I’ve lived and worked in this area for years so I know the shops around here. It's not a corporate skyscraper or anything like that. Just a regular room where I get things done. I started this because I wanted something of my own near home. Dealing with clients takes up most of the morning and then I catch up on emails in the afternoon. It's a steady routine. The noise from the street is always there but I've gotten used to it by now. There isn't much more to it than that, just daily work in Dadar.
