Gauravi Shivalkar Dental Clinic

I have been running my dental practice out of Flat No 15 on the 1st Floor of Jolly Maker Apartment 3 for a good number of years now. Being right here in Cuffe Parade means I get to see a lot of familiar faces every day. The apartment itself is one of those older buildings that has a lot of character, though the elevator can be a bit slow some days. Most of my patients just take the stairs since I am only on the first floor. It is a small setup, just a regular flat that I turned into a workspace. It’s not like those big corporate hospitals where you feel like just a number. Here, it is just me and my small team. We have the dental chairs set up in the main rooms and a small area for people to sit while they wait their turn. I try to keep the atmosphere quiet and calm because I know people get nervous about their teeth. Sometimes you can hear the birds outside or the sound of traffic from the street, but mostly it is peaceful. We deal with all the usual stuff like cleanings and fillings. I do not have a fancy receptionist or a computer system for everything; we still use paper files for a lot of our records. It feels more personal that way. People from the building often stop by just to say hello. It is a nice way to work, being part of the local community like this.
