You can find Gaurav Foods out on Malerna Road, not too far from the Juneja Farm House. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town center, so it’s usually quieter out here compared to the markets. We deal with food products, mostly handling the drying and packing parts of the business. The smell around the building changes depending on what we are working on that week. Sometimes it’s spicy and makes you sneeze, and other times it’s sweet. We have a few big rooms where we keep everything. The staff mostly comes from the nearby villages. We aren't fancy people. We wear aprons and hats to keep things clean, but we aren't wearing suits or anything. The yard out front is where the trucks park to load up. Sometimes the road gets muddy after a heavy rain, and that makes things difficult for a few days. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. We don't do much advertising. Mostly, people find out about us through word of mouth or if they happen to be passing by on Malerna Road. We don't have a website with flashy photos. We just make sure the bags are sealed tight and the labels are on straight. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we talk while we work to make the time pass faster. It's just a regular food business.
