Ganesh Electrical

We are over in Chembur East, specifically on the 8th Main and 1st Cross. It is a corner spot, which is nice because we get a lot of light in the mornings. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of the walls for shelving. Most of the time, I am busy testing batteries or cutting pieces of wire for customers who only need a few meters. You see the same faces every day in this part of Chembur. People stop in when their fan stops working or when a light goes out in their kitchen. We keep a lot of different spare parts because you never know what someone is going to bring in. The workbench stays messy with screwdrivers and testers lying around. I keep telling myself I will clean it on Sunday, but then Sunday comes and I just want to rest. The rain can be a problem here, so we have to keep the doorstep clear so water doesn't come inside. It is a quiet enough business most days, except when the school nearby lets out and the street gets packed. We don't do much advertising, people just know we are here at 1st Cross. Sometimes the electricity in the building flickers, which is funny since we are an electrical shop. We just get on with the work and try to help the locals with their repairs.
