Gajanan Clinic

Gajanan Clinic is located right at shop number five in Sardar Ravi Chawl. If you know the Kajupada Pipeline area in Kurla West, you know it gets pretty busy around here. We’ve been here for a good while now. It isn't a fancy place with big lights or anything like that. Just a small clinic where people from the chawl and nearby come when they aren't feeling right. The pipeline road is always noisy with bikes and people walking to the station. Most days start early because folks want to see the doctor before heading to work. We keep things simple. The benches are a bit old but they do the job. Sometimes the rain makes the lane a bit messy, but that’s just how Kurla is in the monsoon. People around here know us by name. It’s mostly regular faces. You might have to wait a bit if there’s a crowd, especially in the evenings when everyone is back from their shifts. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything stays clean and the files are in order. It’s a tight space, but it works for what we do. We try to listen to everyone who walks through that door. Sometimes it’s just a cough, other times it’s something else. We just stay focused on the work. Living and working in Kurla West means you get used to the hustle. That’s just our daily life here at the clinic.
