Frugurpop

We spend a lot of time here on the third floor of R City mall. It’s usually pretty loud because of the food court, but you get used to the noise after a few days of working. Frugurpop is basically just us keeping the freezers running and making sure things are cold. People come by after their lunch or when they are tired of walking around the shops in Ghatkopar West. It gets really busy on Saturday evenings when families are out. Sometimes the line gets long and we have to move fast. My apron usually ends up with some spills by the end of the shift. We are right here in the mix of all the other food stalls. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a counter and a lot of ice. We spend our mornings checking the stock and getting the fruit stuff ready before the mall doors open to everyone. Sometimes the mall air conditioning is too high and it gets chilly even for us. I’ve been working here for a while now and I know most of the security guys and the people at the other stalls. It’s just a normal job in a busy part of the city. We try to keep things clean and keep the popsicles from melting before they get to the customers. That’s pretty much how it goes every day from morning until the mall closes at night.
