Freshnella Foods Pvt Ltd operates out of Malad West in a place called Pimpri Gaon. It is more of a production site than a shop where people come to hang out. We handle a lot of food products here and the day is mostly spent moving stuff around the warehouse and checking the quality of what comes in. Malad West is a huge area but Pimpri Gaon has its own narrow lanes and local feel that makes it different. We have a team of people who show up every day to pack things and get the crates ready for the trucks. The office part is just a couple of desks with some papers piled up and a phone that rings quite a lot. I spend most of my time on my feet making sure the workers have what they need to finish the batches. It is not a glamorous job and we often have flour or dust on our boots by the end of the shift. We are just a private limited company trying to keep the business going in a crowded part of the city. The space is a bit tight because we have so much equipment but we make it work. Most of the people working here live right in Malad or nearby so we all know the local shortcuts and the best places to get a quick snack during the break.
