Freshar

Living and working in Malad West means you get used to the sounds of the Marve Road traffic. We are located over at Patelwadi, right near where Mr. Ansari is. It’s a busy little pocket of Mumbai. The air smells a bit like the sea when the wind blows the right way from the coast. Our spot at Freshar isn't very large, but it fits what we need. Getting here can be a bit of a crawl if the tide is high or if there's a local festival blocking the lanes. We see a lot of people heading toward I N S Hamla every day. The building is a bit older, with some narrow stairs that make you watch your step. We have some fans running all day to keep the heat away, though they mostly just move the warm air around. It gets noisy in the afternoons when the schools nearby let out. We usually have a stack of papers on the desk and some half-empty water bottles. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We don't have any fancy glass walls or polished floors. It’s just a practical space where we spend our time. Sometimes we grab snacks from the vendors on the street. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just Malad for you. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. No big deal.
