Freelancing

My Freelancing work happens out of 801 A Wing in Manasarovar in Powai. Mumbai is a city that never really stops so being on the eighth floor helps me stay a bit away from all the noise down on the street. Powai is a busy area with a lot of offices and people but my place is just a regular apartment. I use one of the rooms as my main workspace. It is 400076 zip code for anyone who needs to know. I have a view of some other buildings and a bit of the sky from my window. I spend most of my hours here working through whatever project is currently on my plate. I do not have a company car or a big budget for fancy things. It is just me and my laptop and a lot of coffee. I started doing this because I wanted more control over my time. Sometimes I work on weekends and sometimes I take a random Tuesday off but usually I am at my desk. It is not a big corporate firm with a lot of levels. If you talk to someone it is always just going to be me. I try to stay on top of things but sometimes life in Mumbai gets in the way with the rain or the traffic. I just keep plugging away at it day after day because that is what I know how to do. It isn't always glamorous but it is my own work.
