Freelancer

I have my setup for Freelancer over in Borivli West at the Jeevan Prabha Co Op Housing Society. My specific unit is B 28, and we are right on Chandawarkar Road. Mumbai 400 092 is a busy place, and there is always something happening right outside the door. Being a freelancer here means you have to be okay with a bit of noise and a lot of movement. My office is just a room with my desk and a few shelves for my files. It isn't a polished corporate space with glass walls. It is a real place with some chipped paint and a window that rattles when the wind is high. I like being in this part of town because it feels alive. I can step out and be in the middle of a market in just a few minutes. I don't have any employees or a fancy reception area. It is just me sitting here and working through whatever is on my plate for the day. Sometimes the society meetings get a bit loud, but mostly I just keep to myself. I’ve lived in Mumbai my whole life, so I’m used to the pace. It is an honest way to make a living without all the corporate stress. This address has been my home base for a while, and it works for what I do. It’s a cramped space but it’s mine and I get things done.
