Foxpro

Foxpro is really just me, Prakash S Vyas, working from my computer. I don't have a physical shop or an office building that you can visit. Instead, I use a variety of email addresses like Gmail, Rediffmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo to stay in touch with everyone. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to have so many accounts, but it’s how I’ve always done things. I’ve been doing this for a long time, and I mostly work out of my home. It’s a quiet life, and I don't have to worry about commuting through the Bangalore traffic every day. My work is mostly technical, and I spend a lot of time staring at my screen and answering messages as they come in. I don't have a staff or anyone else helping me out, so I handle everything from the smallest detail to the big tasks myself. Sometimes I’m working late into the night because that’s when it’s quietest and I can really focus. I don't do any big marketing or have a polished website. Most of my work comes from people I’ve known for years. It’s a very independent way of living. I just check my various inboxes throughout the day and see what needs my attention. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a man and his laptop trying to get things done right. I prefer this way of working because it’s straightforward and I don't have to answer to anyone else.
