Our office is over in Santacruz East, right in Flat No 24 of the Akanksha Apartments. If you’re looking for us, we are down the lane by the Vakola Police Station in New Anand Nagar. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Being in an apartment building means it doesn’t feel like a typical corporate office at all. It’s more like a regular room where we’ve set up some desks, a few cupboards, and our computers. We’ve been here for a bit, and we know most of the other people who live and work in the building. It’s a tight space, especially when we have a lot of files to go through or people visiting. We aren’t a big operation, just a few people trying to keep everything organized and running. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow or not working, so we end up taking the stairs. We don’t have any fancy posters or mission statements on the walls. It’s just us doing our daily work in a practical way. We handle our business, talk to our clients on the phone, and try to keep up with the fast pace of the city. It’s a very grounded way to work. No one wears suits here unless there is a very special reason. We just focus on the tasks we have for the day and try to get things done.
