We are located in B 1 21 of Mahindra Nagar, which is over in Malad East, Bombay. This part of the city is always moving, and we’ve been right in the middle of it for a long time. Our office isn’t in one of those new skyscrapers you see in the magazines. It’s a much more modest place in a neighborhood where people actually live and work together. We’ve grown quite attached to the spot over the years. Inside the office, things are pretty basic. We have what we need to do our jobs, and not much else. There aren't any expensive paintings or high-end furniture. We spend most of our time just focusing on the paperwork and the requests that come through the door. The sound of the city is always in the background, but we’ve learned to tune it out when we need to concentrate. Most of the people working here have been around for years, so we have a good rhythm. We don't use a lot of fancy talk about what we do. It’s just a job, and we try to do it as well as we can. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to catch up on, and other days we get out on time to enjoy the evening. We like the local feel of Malad East. It’s a place where you can still find a good cup of tea on the corner and talk to your neighbors.
