Film Running Production

Our office is in the Shagun Mall on Nair Road in Malad East. We are at unit number 25. It’s a busy mall with a lot of people coming and going for shopping or food all the time. Being in the film production business means there is always something happening, even if it’s just small stuff. We spend a lot of time on our computers or on the phone trying to coordinate actors, equipment, and locations. It’s not like the glamorous stuff you see in the movies; it’s mostly a lot of paperwork and basic planning. We have been in this spot for a while. Malad is a big hub for this kind of work in Mumbai, so it makes sense for us to be here. The office is small but it holds everything we need to function. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a few people coming in for meetings or to look at scripts. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything that stands out. We just do our work and try to stay busy. There are days when everything is moving at once and we can barely keep up, and other days when we are just sitting around waiting for a call back from someone. It’s a strange way to make a living, but we are very used to it by now. The mall has its own noise, like the music and the crowds, but once you are inside the office, it is okay for working and getting things done.
