Eye Mall Opticians & Lens Clinic

Down here at Shop No. 7 in the Shivam Apartment, we run the Eye Mall Opticians & Lens Clinic. We’re tucked in right near the Syndicate Bank on Subhash Lane in Malad East. If you know Malad, you know how busy Subhash Lane gets. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes with all the delivery bikes and people walking to the station. Our shop isn't massive, but we pack a lot of frames onto the walls. I spend most of my day cleaning the glass cases because they get fingerprints on them constantly. It’s just one of those things. The back area is where the lens clinic part happens. It's a bit cramped back there with all the machinery, but it works fine. My uncle started this place, and I’ve been helping out for years now. We see a lot of the same neighbors coming in. Sometimes they just stop by to say hello or get their glasses tightened for free. The Syndicate Bank next door is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Malad East is a loud place, but we have a heavy door that shuts out most of the noise. It’s a bit dusty outside today, so I’ve been sweeping the front step quite a bit. Just a normal day at the shop, really. We keep things simple and try to stay organized among all the frames and boxes. We aren't trying to be fancy, just helping people see a bit better.
