Eye Clinic

Wadala is a busy place to have a clinic. We’ve been set up here for some time, and the rhythm of the neighborhood is something we know well by now. The clinic itself is fairly modest. We spend our days checking prescriptions and talking to people about their glasses or why their vision feels a bit blurry lately. It’s not a high-pressure environment. Most of the time, it’s just us and the patients chatting about what’s going on in the area. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, we’re usually too busy to worry about that. People come in from all over Wadala, some walking and some taking the train. It’s a good mix of faces. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the files get a little disorganized when it’s a packed afternoon. That’s just how it goes. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines or plush carpets, just the equipment we need and some chairs that work. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up, turn on the lights, and wait for the first person to knock. It feels right being a local fixture. No big corporate vibes here, just a small team trying to be helpful to the people living around us. We like the pace of things in this part of town. The street outside is always full of the sounds of taxis and people rushing to work. We have a small window.
