Executive Assistant

We are based in the Fort area of Mumbai, which is always crowded and full of energy. Specifically, we are on the 5th floor of Patel Chambers at Flat No. 02, right on 9 Gunbow Street. Being in South Mumbai, the buildings are quite old and have a lot of character. The lift in Patel Chambers is one of those old ones with the folding metal gate, and it can be a bit slow. Once you get up to the 5th floor, it’s a bit quieter than the street below. Our space is small but we make it work. We have desks crammed in, and there is always a stack of papers somewhere that needs sorting. Through the windows, you can see the tops of other old buildings and hear the constant honking of taxis. It’s a typical Mumbai office—not much room to move, but everything is within reach. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day. The walls have some old maps and calendars. It’s a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't familiar with the side streets of Fort, but it’s a great spot to be in the middle of everything. We don't have a fancy lobby. You just walk in and we are there working. The floorboards in the office creak when you walk over to the window. It's an old building with a lot of history in the walls. It’s an honest, busy place.
