EVERVANTAGE CONSULTING LLP is tucked away in Devidas Mansion, which is an old building near Apollo Bunder in Colaba. We are on the 4th floor in Room No. 41. The address is a bit of a mouthful, listing both Mereweather Road and S.B.K.B.B. Road, but it’s basically right in that historic district near the Gateway of India. This part of Mumbai is full of old architecture and narrow streets that feel like a different era. Our office has that same character. It’s not a modern glass box. It’s a space with high ceilings and heavy doors, typical of Devidas Mansion. We spend our days here working on consulting matters. It can get a bit humid in the summer, and the stairs are a bit of a workout, but we like the location. Being so close to the sea at Apollo Bunder means there’s always a salty breeze in the air. The street outside is usually busy with tourists and locals, but once you get up to the 4th floor, it’s mostly just us and the other small businesses in the building. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything corporate like that. We just have our workspace where we keep our records and do our thinking. It’s a simple, honest place to work. The building has a lot of stories, and we’re just another one of the tenants making a go of it here in Colaba. We keep our coffee hot and our files in order as best as we can.
